Zenobia Southcombe

Zenobia Southcombe is an author, artist & photographer taking inspiration from New Zealand’s wildlife and landscapes. Born in India, she grew up in Tāmaki Makaurau/Auckland, and now lives in coastal Otago.

Zenobia's work has been exhibited in a range of solo and group shows including ArtWeek Auckland, Pūmanawa Christchurch, Dunedin Botanic Gardens, Dunedin Festival of Photography, and the Photographic Society of NZ National Exhibition. Her images have featured in a range of print and web publications.

Passionate about the natural environment, Zenobia is a trustee & volunteer for the Moths & Butterflies of New Zealand Trust, and writes a weekly newsletter about garden biodiversity, the Dwindle River Garden. Her work brings attention to the unique wildlife of Aotearoa, with a focus on the Otago region.
