Rohit is a Finalist in the Emerging Artist Awards 2023 by the Upstairs Gallery.
"I am an Astrophotographer. My portfolio encompasses Deep Space, Planetary, Lunar & Landscape astrophotography. I love gazing at the night sky - whether it is the the ancient constellations, nebulae bursting with colours of stars being born, or the faint galaxies unfathomable light years away. Seeing them touches something very deep in our imagination. I also enjoy the incredible technical & artistic challenges of photographing something almost invisible to our human vision. Most of my images are taken with specialist telescopes that I have assembled, and using astrophotography software. It is indeed a labour of love as it can take many (sleepless) nights or weeks of exposures to create a single image."
