Sometimes images arrive to you floating through the air from a well read book. With musty pages thumbed through, little treasures arrive on an authors words. I always wonder how other people see these words. Do we see things the same way? Probably not. Inspiration being the motivation. Always in many varied forms. Moonlit walks where the stars guide your way, old movies watched late into the night, exotic escapades to lands far away, all fuel for my art. Often based on fairytale themes, my images always begin from a story in my head, or a dream so vivid it needs to live on. Sometimes dark, sometimes sweetly naïve. Or maybe only with the intention to make you smile.

Born and raised in Christchurch, New Zealand, my childhood was spent either drawing or with my head in a book. Always asking way too many questions, I dreamt of a time when I would travel the world armed with a sketchbook and a great desire to explore. I now work as a graphic designer through the day, creating my own art in the witching hours of night
