Niki Hope
I graduated with a Bachelor of Education specialising in the Arts twenty eight years ago and have never stopped teaching or creating since!
Simple beauty around me inspires me to paint and New Zealand has this in spadefulls! From the idyllic coves to the captivating flora, I am never short of inspiration. I love mixing the freedom of acrylic painting with the fine art of acrylic pens. I find the chaos and calm a gratifying combination.
My dad is a keen artist and art runs in our family. He is the person I go to for advice on what to do next. We experiment in our own styles and present what we have made to each other despite living on the other side of the world to each other. My art is a connection to my parents and my unwinding time from work.
