Holly Dykes

I live and paint in an aqua-and-cream 1960's caravan named Bessie in Auckland, New Zealand.

I love to get lost in imaginary worlds, and am fascinated by the way places can reveal a story about their occupants. My background is in architectural design, and I've always been drawn to the visual language of blueprints. But where architecture demands clarity and consistency, art lets me celebrate the more mysterious, whimsical or improbable. It's a place I like to linger.
