My works are a narration of my views and responses to life – the telling of the story is the focus across all the mediums that I like to create in. These include painting, print, paper works, fibre, sculpture and contemporary jewellery in both semi and precious metals. I have been successfully exhibiting for many years now. I have been published in an international jewellery book and was the winner of the 2007 Showcase Awards for contribution to arts in the community. I judge at art shows and for the Royal East Show in glass sculpture and jewellery. I currently teach classes from my studio four days a week, in abstract painting, print and paper, jewellery and fibre. We live in the beautiful paradise of New Zealand on 11 acres of gentle rolling farm land. This is a busy lifestyle block with family, grandchildren, cows, chickens, pet birds, a very active springer spaniel and a wicked but beautiful cat. My husband collaborates with me on some of the sculpture, taking orders from the mad artist with great patience and applying the welds and bends where needed. Life is full and abundant with family, friends, love, art and madness.
