Kate Horn

Kate is a contemporary artist based on the North Shore in Auckland. Exploring philosophy through evocative landscape painting she values the impact art can have on mood and frame of mind. Every piece she paints is with the intent to create a meditative experience and offer solace and strength through visual expression. While rooted in the landscape genre her pieces are of no particular time or place but are created to convey experiences and emotions. Inspired by particular compositions and light Kate loves to create contrasting visual textures and use strong colour palettes to add impact to the rendered landscapes. She has painted all her life and professionally since 2022.

With a long & diverse career as a top New Zealand makeup artist, Nikki Lovrich has been painting faces her whole life- but in the past few years her brushes have been reintroduced to canvas where her ‘Flowergirl’ paintings have bloomed to life. Nikki’s original art works of glamorous girls are graphic & bold, with brave use of intensely bright colours with a tropical theme . ‘I am inspired by all things Hawaiian & vintage , with a bit of ’80’s Pop Art shining through’
